Born 1958 in Surberg near Traunstein, Bavaria, Germany

1979/80 A-levels / community service

1980 – 82 Apprenticeship at the Mayer'sche Hofkunstanstalt, Munich Profound experience in three crafts: mosaic, art glass and glass painting Apprenticeship Graduation with Distinction

1982 – 89 Studied sculpture with Eduardo Paolozzi at the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich Fields of experience: Portraits modelled sculpturally and artistically, imaginary architectural worlds, sculpture and colour, sculpture techniques, cement casting, bronze casting, photography and etching.

1988 Study visit in Carrara

Since then, working as a freelance painter, sculptor and restorer.

Two portrait busts in Lasa (Laas) marble: Edith Stein (unveiled 2009) and Max Planck (unveiled 2022), realised for the classicist synthesis of the arts, "Walhalla" near Regensburg.
